French Polynesia lagoons & overwater villas
One hundred and eighteen islands across the South Pacific — and I'll help you choose the ones that fit your trip.
Why French Polynesia
The trip of a lifetime, done right.
French Polynesia is where luxury feels effortless: an overwater villa above a turquoise lagoon, dinner with your toes in the sand, and water so clear you can watch rays glide beneath your deck.
Getting it right takes planning. Which islands, in what order, which villa category, how to connect inter-island flights without wasting a day — that's where I come in. I design every island-hopping itinerary personally, and I'm available around the clock while you travel.

Where we stayed
Inside an overwater villa at the St. Regis
From the moment a flower-crowned host drove us to our villa, every detail felt effortless. Glass floors over the lagoon, a canopy bed, a soaking tub and champagne waiting on arrival — this is the kind of stay I love planning for my clients.

Where to go
Arrival island
Tahiti
Your gateway through Papeete. I like to start with a night at the InterContinental Tahiti — its lagoon pool looks straight out to Moorea.
Private-island luxury
Tetiaroa
Marlon Brando's former atoll, home to The Brando — an eco-luxury resort reachable only by small plane.
Moana's island
Moorea
A short ferry from Tahiti — the jagged green peaks and calm bays often credited as inspiration for Motunui, Moana's island home.
For divers
Rangiroa
One of the world's largest atolls — and where we went diving. Drift through Tiputa Pass with dolphins, sharks and rays.
The icon
Bora Bora
Overwater villas beneath Mount Otemanu, and a lagoon where you can dive alongside manta rays. Ideal for honeymoons.
UNESCO biosphere
Fakarava
A quiet, remote atoll famous for the South Pass "wall of sharks" and pink-sand beaches.

Where Moana’s world comes to life
“If your family loves Moana, French Polynesia feels like stepping right into the film. Moorea’s jagged peaks are often called the inspiration for Motunui — and in Bora Bora, we dove with manta rays gliding through the lagoon. It was pure magic, and it’s an experience I can plan for you, whether you’re a certified diver or snorkeling for the very first time. And don’t leave without a private sunset cruise to a motu for dinner — it’s the kind of evening I love arranging for my clients.”

Questions I hear most
-
U.S. citizens need a valid passport, and no visa is required for short tourist stays. I’ll confirm current entry rules for everyone in your group before you travel.
-
Two or three is the sweet spot for most trips of 7–12 nights. More than that and you spend too much time in transit.
-
Absolutely. Rangiroa and Fakarava are world-class, and I can pair a dive stay with a luxury finish in Bora Bora.
-
French Polynesia trips are planned at my Concierge level; fees depend on trip length and complexity. See Planning & Fees for details.
